Dr. Gurpreet Dhillon is Professor of Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University, USA and a Guest Professor at ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal. He holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. Gurpreet has authored ten books including Principles of Information Systems Security: text and cases (John Wiley, 2007) and over 100 research manuscripts. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Information System Security. Gurpreet’s research has been featured in various academic and commercial publications and his expert comments have appeared in the New York Times, USA Today, Business Week, NBC News, NPR, among others.
