A gift of a Menehune whistle and a few days later, Mana and Jason climb a huge redwood to visit their new friends and the Menehune peace pools. They find the tiniest of Menehunes know more about peace and self-respect than they do! A few friends gradually come to know the secret and join them in the Menehune meadow beyond the cliffs. About the Author
Diane Tillman enjoyed working with young people and their families as a School Psychologist for 23 years in southern California. One of the creators of a global values-education initiative, Living Values Education, as a Licensed Educational Psychologist she has authored 15 resource books on values education, and circled the globe numerous times to do seminars in more than 30 countries. She has done values education seminars for UNESCO, educators, educational organizations and street children agencies, at universities, schools and retreat centers, and in refugee camps. She recently wrote a mindful parenting guide, “Nurturing with Love and Wisdom, Disciplining with Peace and Respect”. As a meditator for more than 30 years, she finds people of all ages enjoy and benefit from inner stillness, peace and love.
